Installing and creating the MetaMask extension in the browser

Installing and creating a wallet in a browser is shown using Google Chrome as an example.

1. Go to the website https://metamask.io/ and click on the "Download for image.png" button at the bottom

page or in the upper right corner click “Download”.

 2. If you clicked on “Download”, on the next page you need to select the “Chrome” browser and click the “Install MetaMask for Chrome” button at the bottom

3. The MetaMask extension page opens, click “Install”.

5. After installation, a website for registering a wallet will open, click “Get Started”.

6. You can refuse to collect basic data, select “No, thanks”

7. Next, select “Create wallet”

8. At the next stage, create a password, confirm it, then put a checkmark next to “I have read the Terms of Use and agree to them” and click “Create”.

9. You can watch the training video and click “Next”

10. Click on the lock icon with the inscription and we will have access to the secret recovery phrase.

BE SURE to write down the secret phrase (seed phrase) on a piece of paper and save it. This will be the only way to recover your wallet. Rewrite the words in the same order and click “Next”.

11. Next, you need to confirm the secret phrase by selecting the words in the correct order and clicking “Confirm”

12. We accept congratulations and click “All done”

13. Set up quick access from the wallet through a browser extension. Click on the icon,

then click on the paper clip ,clip, quick access to the extension installed!
