Installing the MetaMask mobile application

You can install the Metamask mobile application from the official Metmask website

in the MetaMask application section or in the official Google Play MetaMask and AppStore MetaMask stores

Important! Download MetaMask only from verified and official sources.

Installation of a mobile application is shown using the iOS OS as an example.

1. After installation, launch the application, see the welcome screen and click “Get Started”

2. Choose how to configure your wallet. There are two options:

  • Set up using a seed phrase (if you already have a wallet on your computer or smartphone).
  • Set up as a new wallet.
3. Setup using a secret phrase
  • Select the appropriate item
  • Click the “I agree” button
  • Insert the secret phrase (in full, with spaces) into the first field.
  • Paste the password into the two corresponding fields and click “Import”.
  • When prompted to check for updates automatically, you can click "No, thanks"
  • Your wallet is ready to use!
4. Create a new wallet
  • Select the appropriate item.
  • Enter the password in the two corresponding fields, click on the checkbox “I understand that Metamask cannot recover this password for me.” and click “Create password”
  • Next, skip the second and third points by clicking the “Next” and “Start” buttons.
  • Click on “View” and write down the seed phrase on a piece of paper and click “Continue”.
  • Insert the words in order and click “Full backup”.
  • Click “Finish”, your wallet is ready to use!
